so i think ive been relying on some good old fashioned comforts recently:
- terra-cotta faces from Carthage around 7th century and 6th century BC; found at the Punic tombs of Dermech. they are so whimsical and no one knows why they were made and we just projected a bunch of meanings on to them but i think its so fun to not take them seriously.
- i love when i come home or im home and around 5pm like someone starts cooking and its all warm and smells delicious like it reminds me of home and makes the house feel so lived in.
- my neighbor next door on the other side of my bedroom wall has been learning how to play the guitar and it sounds soooo beautiful. ugh it makes me so happy to think about it’s so wonderful.
- yummy pickle chip as always
- oranges and goodwill bins
- cooking with my roommates and just being silly with them
- layering long socks/making socks and stockings out of things i dont wear anymore (ie. old leggings)
- my bed.... shes such a goat
- tuesday outings with lauren and being able to do so much fun stuff during the week
- kaitlyn’s recipes
